It's going to be Harris

Only Whitmer, I think, hasn't endorsed already and given the weight behind Harris it would be an extraordinary thing to declare against her now.

She starts roughly where Biden did but has youth and vigour on her side. All the Republican attack lines and attack ads will now need to be trashed - suddenly it's not two old pale stale males any more, and a group of people who might not have bothered to vote at all now might.

Still very much 50/50 or worse for her at this stage but she has the beginnings of "the big mo" and the opportunity to build it. Quite a long hanging on whether she does, or does not, manage it.
