Very sorry to hear that bud

Four years ago I moved back to Norfolk having split from my then wife of 24 years. In truth we should have split much sooner but made the classic mistake of "staying together for the kids" - this is pretty much always a bad idea.

Being back in Norfolk is wonderful and I deeply regret not doing it sooner. That said, there were some sad times and I struggled to work out who I really was for a time.

It gets better, not in days but over months and years. Take the time to grieve over your marriage and also to get to know yourself a bit. It's maybe not the way you'd have chosen to start it but a whole new chapter of your life is starting and that can be exciting as well as daunting.

Take it easy, chap, and on sad days be sure to talk to someone about how you're doing, don't bottle it all up x
