not arson but fire related. just talked to my lad who is a fireman, they were on a shout to a house fire in norwich yesterday after neighbour raised the alarm. broke into the property and found a little girl hiding upstairs on her own nobody else in the property. little girl was ok bit of smoke inhalation coughing but fine. turns out the mother was away at work for the day and had left a pan on the stove. she tried to blag it that she'd gone to the shop and got lost. kid now in social services, mother under arrest.
