coaches are generally more right than fans - for obvious reasons
and it's basically pretty stupid not to give them a generous degree of latitude - but they're not perfect and they're not beyond criticism - and the degree of latitude also depends on the variety of question - eg knowing how fit a player is, or what is his state of mind or his effect on team mates is something fans know virtually nothing about, but playing in one way or another is something that is more easily judged and more easily compared with other coaches/teams - I can compare Farke and Mick McCarthy, or Farke and Smith, or both with Wagner
