And ER seems to fall in that category. Injuries very genuine obviously last year, less convinced about some of them this year but what do we know....

Do agree with you concerning the scheduling of the doubles match. Obviously aimed at a show court and TV, but someone could have worked out it was going to be too close to her singles today....

Bottom line is ER shouldn't have accepted when AM texted (she didn't think it through), and AM probably should have asked someone else earlier who might have been available and committed to plsy (Heather Watson being the obvious choice if she was available) not just when he had made the decision he wasn't fit enough for the singles tournament.
