That's the thing about the Prem
It's not the gap between promoted teams and Man City. It's gap between them and Crystal Palace. It's when you watch your team lose at home 2-0 to Crystal Palace, with Palace playing comfortably within themselves for the entire game and still winning at a canter, while having a bench full of players that would walk into your first team. That's when you realise that you're at least 200m of instant spend away from having a chance.
If Ipswich manage to bridge that gap it will be an absolute miracle.
