He hasn't suddenly got loads better at Celtic
Maybe he's got a bit more confidence and belief, but the main difference is the standard of the opposition he's up against and the relative quality of the players in his team.
A quick scan of Celtic fan comments identify the same issues he had here, e.g. not great decision making, sometimes touch not great etc. But pops up and score goals.
As you say, much better for everyone if he moves (so long as we get a reasonable wedge).
