Over the fact he has managed to get two different championship teams into the playoffs over 46 game seasons.

You can hate all you want but our new manager has no such experience.

Not saying he won't be better but you also have to entertain the possibility things could be worse too.

FWIW I think the coaching decisions will have the least effect.
The fact we will have massive changes in the squad this season suggests the biggest effect will be recruitment.
