it's interesting

because on one view, he's had 2 seasons - the first, in which he succeeded, with a better than league 1 squad, to get promoted from league 1 (which is probably what he ought to have achieved) and the 2nd, in which he undoubtedly did well, helped by momentum and strange wobbles from soton and leeds, both of whom ought really to have done better. So basically, a couple-ish of good seasons. Yes, he might well be a very good manager ... but it's not obvious that he'll tun out any better or more successful than Lambert (who achieved more) or Neill, let alone Farke who smashed the champs twice ... If I were chelsea or man u eg, I'd not go anywhere near him yet - Brighton maybe
