He must have been one of the highest paid players at Sunderland, and came to us because we offered more. So we went after him hard, coughed up good money, and then barely played him. Even when this involves dropping Kenny back into CB.
Maybe there is a great explanation for this, but looking in from the outside you’ve got wonder wtf they were up to.
