Yes he brought in huge sums, most of that down to investments made by people who worked at the club before him. He gets the credit for the Buendia money though.
However, I’m talking about what he has actually done with the money at his disposal, which is ultimately what matters.
The two titles were great (particularly the first), but the club failed to build pin that and regardless, the ultimate goal was to survive in the premier league, which he failed at miserably, twice. He slated the previous regime for their work, so deserves the criticism for what has unfolded in recent years.
