About the way our season petered out having looked like we were building to something special at one stage.

Particularly with a number of players out of contract too.

They never quite okay the same whether they know the manager is toast, even though they might say they want to “do it for the coach.”

This news today has softened the blow of last night. A new, ambitious coach with a rebuilt defence and the bulk of this front 6 still in place is quite an exciting prospect.
