I think the police should be clearer to diffuse the tensions

The narrative of a knife/slashing is still going about on social media stirring up hostility and whilst the police imply that there was no such sort of attack they don’t outright state it.

The can thing seems much more likely and whilst I would not condone that (as the guy still got hurt) it’s not the same as a fan being randomly slashed with a knife. Nor, from what I have heard, was this incident completely unprovoked as has been made out.
