Barcelona are bankrolled by the Spanish government aren’t they as a tourist attraction? I agree that it’s frustrating that we can’t compete at that the level of our comparable teams but Man City and Chelsea were teams we were beating in the 80s and 90s and it’s only cash that’s made them successful. We played amazing stuff under Farke albeit at a lower level with budget players and seeing that crushed just because other teams have billionaire owners will never sit well with me. I’ve always liked that football goes in a circle and teams have successful periods and it’s shared around, i can see Man City winning everything for the next ten years and i think that will be bad for the game
