They mussed up the tolerances and overestimated the accuracy when they rolled it out and it's led to the refs deferring responsibility to it which exacerbates the problems.
If it was used to quickly rule out obvious errors then no one would have been too fussed, but they have made an utter, utter, pigs ear of it.
