To be fair, I read her original message exactly how she has subsequently tried to explain

it in her subsequent apology.

The Sydney attack may not have been an islamic terrorist attack but its exactly the type of lone wolf attack used and encouraged by such terrorist organisations. Lets be honest, when everyone first heard about it most people will have assumed that it was a terrorism incident. Its not islamophobic to highlight that islamic terrorists often engage in a certain type of terrorism and are not bothered about taking out civilian targets.

Her point, as I understand it, is that it appears to have become acceptable for people to wonder the streets of London shouting for "intifada" when the 2nd "intifada" involved lots of suicide and other violent attacks on civilians. I'd assume (although don't know) that if people were wondering round London shouting "kill all palestinians" she would similarly protest.

Which to me is a perfectly reasonable point worthy of discussion but no all we get is a she islamophobic, "sack her", "burn her at the stake", end her career style social media pile on which we seem to get any time someone opens their mouth and says anything in a vaguely clumsy way.
