I once wrote a pitch for a TV show

It was a late 80s early 90s style crime drama series along the lines of Diagnosis Murder / Murder She Wrote. The main protagonists were stylish detective DI Mike Shawback and his barber/best friend Bari Scydes. There would be a mysterious murder at the beginning obviously and there would always be a strand of hair or some kind of hair styling apparatus left at the scene. DI Shawback would discuss the case with his pal/barber while getting his buffon treated and the barber with his extensive knowledge of the science of hair and follicules would help decipher clues and together they were solve the muder and celebrate with a wet shave and the offer of something for the weekend. It was called Shawback & Scydes.
