Press news in...

Dvid Wagner's press conference ahead of NCFC's clash against ITFC will commence at 1:35pm this afternoon.
------------------------------------------------------------

DW on mood: “Okay. It could have more or less (points over Easter games). The last game was a disappointing one, we weren't on our best. We didn't do what we wanted to do, we wanted to be better in ball possession. We have a huge chance in the local derby and everybody is aware about it.”

DW on 15 year record against ITFC: “Nothing can destroy this group of players. It was the same noise when we played them the last time. At the end of the day, it’s a game and a super important one. Home or away form doesn’t count as it’s a different game.”

DW: “We like to do our stuff on the highest level. We need to play to our pattern and our strengths. We didn’t do this on Monday even if it was the same idea. We need to show we are better than we were on Monday.”

DW on fans: “It’s crucial. If you like to achieve something, you need performance on the pitch and noise from the stands. Seven home wins in a row is good, but we want to continue this.”

DW on Sargent: “I think the stats speak for themselves. 14 goals in 20. Hopefully, our season continues as long as it can be, with this his fitness will be crucial.”

**Josh Sargent followed the full regime (training and games) last week without any issues**

DW on Sorensen: “Lungi has a hamstring injury. Thankfully, not to serious. He will be out for 10-14 days.”

DW on Jon Rowe: “He is at the final stages of his rehab. He will need around 7 days.”

DW on Jonny Rowe: “I think big credit to him and medical department, they were clear on the timeframe. You cannot take risks with this sort of injury. They are slightly ahead of schedule, which is great.”

DW: “Everybody looks fine. You can feel the excitement with what is ahead of us.”

DW: “Everyone who gets used on Saturday or not used needs to be on their highest energy level to get a positive result over the line. ITFC are top of the league after 40 games, they deserve the credit they get for a fantastic season. This doesn’t change our aim.”

DW: “Norwich supporters play your part. We approach it different and how this derby deserves. But we need to be calm in the head.”

DW: “The biggest difference between the first time we played them and now is that we are at home. We can be uncomfortable for every opponent and on Saturday (at home).”

DW on Kieran McKenna: “What he has done is remarkable, so big credit to him and his staff. How they approach it is outstanding. He deserves to win manager of the year in this season.”
