Until then though, who in their right mind would want us to lose? Why would you not want your team to achieve the highest possible position?

If we somehow go up in the play offs, we can worry about the Premier League over the Summer. We’ll have more investment and we have a different sporting director, so that’s two potential positives. I don’t think we can ignore the negative impact Webber had on our last two seasons there, who knows what we’d do next season if we go up. Wanting your team to lose though so that you can say ‘I told you so’ is just such backwards logic I can’t even be bothered to argue with it any more.
