in the European press at least, at the time. Neither worked out for us and I think the problem is at that price level you need to be buying more than just two, with the hope that one or ideally two work out. We couldn't afford to do that so all our eggs were in those baskets.
There's a player in Tzolis but we couldn't find it and this happens to every club and every manager and you never really know till you try.
In general there aren't that many players who left us and went on to do really well somewhere else. Danny Mills maybe. Madders. Sure there's more but my mind is blank. So maybe this happens to us less than other clubs, idk, or maybe we run at about par, who can say, really?
