There’s been a lot of talk on here about whether our improved form is down to coaching or
whether its because we have great players.
I think there is another factor at play here, and that is Confidence. A few good results give a team confidence and everybody seems like a better player. Examples are Gibson, Stacey and Nunez. In November I didn’t think Gibson was Championship standard. I can remember one game when he didn’t make a forward pass all match.
Stacey was always a willing runner but there seemed to be no end product. Nunez just didnt look as if he was up to the physicality of this league.
What a difference some good results make. Gibson was my man of the match against West Brom a few weeks ago. He crossed from the wing to create a goal against Middlesbrough. Stacey is at times unplayable, and Nunez is now running our midfield, along with Kenny and Sara.
Have they been coached any differently? I dont think so. They are simply playing with confidence. I am also confident that we will drop very few points in the run in, and have a great chance in the play offs
