Learned some French and Russian at school
Added some German when I started work.
Never used them enough to get vaguely proficient.
More recently I learned some Italian. My comprehension isn't bad (can listen to the radio, read the news, read some books) but I think too slowly to talk effectively. Think I'd need to go and live somewhere to really make progress.
Languages aren't really my thing, but learning these days is so much better than when I was at school.
