Press news in...

Assistant Christoph Bühler will stand in for David Wagner at today's pre-Stoke City press conference, starting at 2.45pm.

Our head coach is away owing to a personal family matter.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

CB: “David is doing okay. We've followed our routines in the week, and our preparations have been the same. He will be back with us tomorrow for the game."

CB on Dimi Giannoulis: “This will take longer than we hope. He will be back till the end of April. He might be back for games at the start of May.”

CB on Sam McCallum: “It’s a like for like. It’s a left-back for a left-back. They are different types of players, it’s just their skill set is different.”

CB: "Shane Duffy will hopefully be back after the international break. Everyone else will be okay for the weekend. Jonny Rowe is on track."

CB on Rotherham: “This is a potential banana skin or banana slip. We controlled the game and scored some nice goals. We took positive energy out of it and take this to Stoke.”

CB: “We have this game then eight games left, so 24 points (after the break). 18 teams are playing for something, so there will be lots more twist and turns. We approach it game-by-game.”

CB on away form: “I look at the current games and form. When you look how we played at Middlesbrough before the red card, it was our best performance away from home. We had lots of chances at Blackburn. We are not scared to go away.”

CB on Sarge and Hanley international call-ups: “The best case scenario they both come back with no injuries. Both sides are aware of their conditions.”

CB on opportunity this weekend (Hull and Coventry not playing): “It’s not more or less motivation to get the three points. We take it game-by-game. We don’t know the result between these two when they play (Hull vs Coventry).”

CB on play-off race: “I don’t think it’s a chase. It’s a pack of teams and there will be twists and turns.”
