We await the Mayor and then Mr Wagner.
----------------------------------------------

KM on momentum: “You don’t need to have been there and done it to know how key momentum is in this league. We want as many points as we can to get ourselves in the mix.”

KM on turning point: “Not particularly. When we went away to Hull and our backs were against the wall and we ground it out. We’ve had a good run, but there’s plenty to improve on.”

KM reflection on earlier in the season : “We didn’t do good enough but the work rate has never been in doubt. We had some honest conversations and we knew we had do better. We’ve taken responsibility since then.”

KM: “We’ve been trying to improve daily and the results are coming. It’s key having the fans onside.”

KM on playing CB: “We looked at the way we’d been playing when I had been there, and took a risk. The manager gave me his reasons and it made sense. I will play anywhere and always give everything for this football club - like I always have.”

KM on longevity to his career playing CB: “I hope so. We’ll see how things go. I’ve spoke to the manager about it and he said that he sees me there in the long-term. I still prefer playing in the middle, but I’ll play anywhere.”

KM on POTY contention: “At the age of 32, I feel as fit as I ever have. I just want to keep getting better and doing well for the team.”

KM on other team results: “Of course you check results, it’s natural. But we must do our job and that’s what we’ve been doing recently.”

KM: “There’s a good feeling around this place. Players are getting back. I’ve just seen Shane (Duffy), who is close to getting back. Sarge is back. Gibbo is back.”

That’s all from the Mayor at Colney.

DW: “Gibbo was back in training since the start of the week. Barnes is a little bit fatigued and stiff, but he should be available. The rest available same as last week. Shane Duffy is back in team training the week leading up to Rotherham United.”

DW on Sargent: “We take it week-to-week. This week was good as he felt good after the game. In the back of my head is the international break, when we can give him a longer break.”

DW: “When we had a busy week with a midweek game and then a clean week, I give them two days off. Luckily, everybody is healthy. Then we go to Blackburn and go for it.”

DW on top six push: “Momentum is important for the confidence, belief and trust we get out of it. But momentum will not happen or continue unless you work tirelessly to keep this going. We need to control what we can do - this is our hunger and desire.”

DW: “Kenny McLean is for me one of the best midfielders (and defender) in the Championship. He is a leader.”

DW on attacking unit: “We lost with Teemu Pukki the leading goalscorer from the previous four seasons. There was some concern. But credit to this squad for the goals they have scored, and these have been from all areas.”

DW on Blackburn: “Our focus is on us as usual. They have changed the manager and now go more direct. But they can mix it up. We know everything we need to know about them.”

DW: “They have quality offensively. They have the top-scorer in the league, with 23 goals in all competitions (Szmodics).”

DW: “I prefer to have a full week to prepare my team. What it means for Saturday, we will see.”

That’s all from David Wagner for today.
