Well of course they could, but..

Would you read a Newspaper or listen to a current affairs programme where the news was just dryly reported either by machine or column writer ? I certainly wouldn't . I buy papers to read other people's opinions on all sorts of things. Some I agree with, others not so. And, sometimes, my own opinions are coloured by hearing a wide range of other opinions.
