David Wagner's press conference ahead of QPR will take place at 2:30pm this afternoon.
------------------------------------------------------------

DW on Rowe: “Jonny trained today without it any issues. He looks to be back in the matchday squad along with Danny Batth. Shane Duffy will miss the game with a hamstring injury (picked up against Coventry). He will have another scan in 10 days.”

DW on Van Hooijdonk: “He gets to know the names better now. He was involved in all the sessions, but needs to get used to the training regime.”

DW on striker trio: “They all have different skills in terms of speed and link-up play. But I don’t like to put pressure on Sydney this early.”

DW on final third options: “If our squad is together then we are competitive. We look forward and deal with all situations we face and go attack it.”

DW on Hanley: “You never liked to have any injured players, you like a full squad available. It’s happened to Duffy now and he will miss a few games. Grant (Hanley) has shown he is capable and he is desperate to play.”

DW on Adam Idah: “I am happy for him and Celtic as well. I hope he can continue this.”

DW on QPR: “They have picked up more points than us in the last three games and this speaks for itself. It’s a difficult task and we need to be as sharp and aggressive as we were in recent games.”

DW on Marti Cifuentes: “It’s a team that I’m super sure will survive as they have enough. They are a footballing team with individual quality. We have to be on our best.”

DW: “We have to make sure we are independent and look after ourselves. We have to be focused on our game in ball possession and how we can improve this.”

DW on Angus Gunn: “My biggest problem is Germany play Scotland in their first game in the summer. He played a crucial role in the win against Coventry.”

DW on Ben Knapper interview: “We are on the same page. In the last 15 years since I was a manager, my aim was to get as many academy players into the first team training or matchday squad.”
