those articles have a lot of words

There's a lot of "stuff" in there, but little acknowledgement of the limitations of the (quite noisy) data from which it's drawn, and quite a lot of conclusions drawn which come from the inevitable slant of the interpretation of the data.

There's also a weirdly hectoring quality to the 'advice' which is quite reminiscent of things in all manner of fields these days (where you can become an 'expert' without putting the yards in). The guy is obviously learning that analysis stuff, but the way he suggests that he's spotting stuff that the professionals at the club aren't seriously devalues his 'analysis'. imo.

Still it gives people stuff to chow over... if you like that sort of thing. (tho always remember the maxim GIGO)
