The woman has committed no crime. She’s just expressed views which she has a lawful right to hold. But because someone has complained that they don’t feel safe in a football ground containing someone who holds those views, the club has banned her. That is genuinely appalling. If the story is accurate I would expect the courts to penalise Newcastle.
