worth of debt have won the major titles and cups around the world in the last 5 years. More than £1bn debt = success on the field. Would Kevin Keegan it if Man City had the book thrown at them but they'll be some payments made behind the scenes and they'll get off lightly. No problem for the Champs if they were relegated as I'm sure overpaid prima donna rats would leave a sinking ship.
