A "winning draw" tonight and a "losing draw" vs Saints i.e. unlucky not to win tonight and lucky not to lose new year's day. Saints are properly good this season and on a run right now. I'd still rather Leeds made the autos than them cos I think Leeds win the playoffs if they're in them, Saints it's not so clear cut and on our day with all players back there's every chance for us against them.

Obviously I'd deeply love to be wrong and we win both! And both games are certainly winnable, though we won't win both and I don't actually think we'll win either. We'll still be in touch of playoffs going into 2025 and that's where we need to be, Sarge back, Hanley back, little run in Feb/Mar is all it takes. CDDCM in Jan would be the icing on the cake but only if they're any good...
