#NCFC DW in shortly at Colney to preview #PNE

DW: “Hwang’s first steps was good. We expect him back around the Christmas period like Sargent and Gibbo (Gibson). We expect Grant back next week.”

DW on win at Bristol: “I said this even in the period when we had a bad spell. This group is tight together and full of great characters. We need to stay focused and hungry.”

DW: “I can judge the results. Cardiff was a decent performance, QPR was okay and Bristol was a very even game. If you score so late then you have this little bit of luck. The players deserved this though. Forget the Watford game when we had our old problems.”

DW on Idah: “I don’t know the exact stats on how many starts he has had. He is an unbelievable impact player off the bench. His goal stats show you this. The truth is, he has done this as a starter. He causes defenders lots of problems.”

DW on Nunez: “Yes, Nacho has made a big improvement in the past few months compared to when I arrived. He takes better care of the ball and makes better decisions with his passes. Less turnovers. He can run 30k a game without a problem - this is unbelievable.”

DW on Liam Gibbs: “I love Gibbsy. He is one of the most football intelligent players in our squad. He asks the right questions and has super speed. He can play both positions. He has shown he can play his part now.”

DW on Preston: “In general, we face a different style from the last three games. They are a direct team and we need to be ready for aerial duals. We must have the right aggression to win the balls and be brave to play our football.”

DW on CR form: “Our aim is from the first second to go for it. We try and invest everything to show how hungry and greedy we are for a second home win in a row. Everyone can smell how important this home game is for us. Everybody in the stadium needs to play their part.”

DW on January window: “We had a meeting this week where we shared thoughts. I understand and agree with all of Ben’s (Knapper) thoughts. These are really exciting. Let’s see what he can deliver in this window, but it’s not at the front of my head.”

DW: “Yes, this is for sure. We don’t have to sell a player in the January window"
