A few reflections from AGM and Vicarage Road

Depressingly I was at both of this week's disasters and unbelievably I found the AGM an even more depressing experience than Vicarage Road.

I hope that I am proved wrong but Ben Knapper does not strike me as having the force of personality that is clearly required to overcome the inertia in the boardroom.

Delia has been pretty quiet at recent AGMs. Someone should have made sure that she remained quiet last night. That was just embarrassing. I disagree with most of what she said but the worst thing was that there is not even the understanding that if you think those crazy thoughts then it is best not to express them in public. I always wondered why Webber was not stopped from ranting ridiculously in public but seemingly there is nobody at the club who can stop the people at the top from just babbling in a stream of consciousness style that only serves to increase the divide between the club and the supporters.

Having said that, MA is obviously a little more savvy in terms of speaking but I was not really sure what his long-term motivations and intentions might be.

The 20% stuff is just ridiculous. Having been at Carrow Road on Saturday and Vicarage Road on Tuesday I think that the reality is more like 95% plus being very concerned as to where our club is going. Not whinging, not entitled, just genuinely worried that we have no leadership, no direction other than downwards. This is a long-term structural problem - not a minor blip created by injuries, bad luck, or a few older players.

Not sure where we go from here TBH.
