Given the age of this squad, not quite sure how we get better from here. It’s not going to be getting naturally better is it, as many players are in the tail of their career? We won’t have any money next summer as parachute payments will be gone, and will need to sell just to cover costs. I guess that means bye bye to two from Sara/Rowe/Sarge, worst case all three. Can you imagine this squad shorn of those players in the hands of this management team? Maybe we add a few kids, but aren’t the kids losing 7-0 most weeks? Even if we sell 2/3 I doubt we will have any meaningful budget to spend.

Knapper is going to need to perform a bonafide miracle in the summer. Maybe we should just spend our summer transfer kitty on a statue of Webber to commemorate how he has transformed the club. Christ alive what a mess.
