There seems little point leaving Wagner in post unless Knapper is going to try him again
It also feels cowardly to leave Knapper to sack him if it is all but decided. Why not stick a caretaker in for Saturday.
That said, what could possibly be the reason for DW being unable to halt such a long run of poor form? Surely Webber can't be held responsible for a lack of tactical solutions stretching back more than a couple of months.
