Recruitment has been inadequate

We are not solid defensively, although I thought Stacey and Duffy are decent signings, but Gibson has no competition. We have not had a decent defensive midfielder since Tettey and Skipp, which we need desperately. However we simply do not score enough goals. Today a second goal would have killed the game, as it would midweek. Sure, we have been unlucky with injuries to Sarge and Barnes, but Barnes is 33 and asking him to go all season without getting injured is a big ask when we only had the inept Idah as back-up. We needed another striker and I'm not sure the non-scoring Hwang is the striking solution.
