David Wagner will be previewing our trip to Swansea from 5️⃣pm 🎤
----------------------------------------------------------

DW: (On Sainz) "Yeah, he got a knock on his ankle. Luckily, it isn't a serious injury but it's quite painful and a little bit swollen. We'll see if he can make the Swansea game but he'll be back in training soon."

DW: "Everyone else is healthy. Danny (Batth) played yesterday but recovered today. Everyone else trained."

DW: (On Dimi) "He sets standards very high for himself but for all of his competitors. He still has space to improve but I am quite happy with what I've seen from him so far. Now, it's about consistency."

DW: (On Giannoulis contract status) "Yes, there will come a point when we discuss this [laughing]. But we are all focused on the games and what is in front of us. Not contract situations. But I am very happy with what I have seen."

DW: "We have a good picture in our head of how we want to play. Is it always perfect? No. There is space to improve. We've had games where we've lost our structure. We are on the the way, there's a lot of hunger to do something special this year."

DW: "In terms of selection it's not about managing minutes. It is about who deserves to play."

DW: 'We have scored a lot so far. I hope that continues. We look like we can score from a lot of different positions. And without our two top strikers for some more weeks. So we have to find solutions. We found some already. But we have to continue. Defensively, goals conceded, we let in 10 in two games. We are better than this. We have to show this."

DW: (On last Sat) "It was not the most entertaining football match but it was one, especially in the first half, we controlled. We had our moments where we should have been more clinical, we did enough to be in front."

DW: "Swansea have two 3-0 wins speaks for itself, a side who is able to play technically very good football, who can create. They changed their shape two games ago and they've found their form and results."

DW: "Our support at home and away is outstanding. Ever since day one for me against Preston, it's been amazing. Even against Fulham during last week when it was clear we would make changes. Hopefully, we can give them something to make the journey back a good one."

With that DW is gone. Back into the rain!
