I think it's kind of hard to tell with strikers, some burst onto the scene early and then fade rapidly, some take a long time to get going then have some golden seasons, and some are pretty consistent from the get go.

With Idah I think it's just the gamble that he has all the attributes and the bits he's lacking in would seem to be a combo of coachable technique and confidence.

I'd say, if he's working hard in training (which the coaches would have a better view of than me) he's worth persisting with, if not relying on... The recruitment of huang means I don't think you could say we're reliant on him, even now, any more so than we are any player in and around the 11
