Now this is either a chance to double down on your so called 'free thinking' or actually reflect and think for yourself for once.

Women don't report things because they don't think they will be believed and they will be blamed. That has been known for decades.

Rich men get away with things because they are powerful and we have oppresive libel laws and they have expensive lawyers. Proving sexual crimes in court is traumatic and difficult and means having your life scrutinised.

These things are why abusers get away with things for so long. See Weinstein, Saville, Epstein etc. Often it requires a critical mass of evidence for these stories to break and to give people the courage to come forward.

In many cases there is evidence that Brand KNEW he was acting badly (actually read the reports or watch the documentary) and yet you are still blaming the women rather than holding him to account.

Even if he didn't commit any crimes (which seems extremely doubtful) he admits grooming a 16 year old when he was in his 30s.

Simple question: is it ok for 30 somethings to have sex with 16 year old girls?
