But I dont think that's right. Root was on fire on that first evening, the bowling attack had been going all day, the pitch was doing nothing. I reckon he could have creamed away some very handy runs in that little window.

Don't get me wrong, who am I to second guess Stokes and Baz. But that was a very very bold decision, and I'm not sure it has worked out well.
