Some people are capable of being professional in a notice period, especially if its in their self interest!

Football is a very tight business, if word gets out, and it would, that he put his feet up now it would have an effect on his search for a new role.

I'd be stunned if he is still here in March, we'll have his replacement in by September at the latest I would think, he'll have his other job lined up, and an agreement will be reached for him to go.
