Some reflections and that. Not many. Possibly rubbish too.

They were very good. Far too good for us. Spose they have been doing this for more than half a season now, whereas DW has only just taken over. They really knew what they were doing, who was supposed to be where. Made it look quite easy to nullify us.

In contrast we often looked out of position, unable to take up simple positions that would offer an out ball. I suspect it was a combo of them pressing very well. But at times, we played pretty bad, and the passing was poor.

On the positive side, we will hopefully improve from here as DW gets more time with us and gets the pattern of play more ingrained. So hopefully there is more to come from us, even if we now know how big the gap is to Burnley.

And at times we played quite well. Made some good chances. On another day....maybe.

My word though, this squad has taken "accident prone" to new heights today. We might well see Gunny back for the remainder of the season. That Krul mistake is the kind some keepers dont make ever in their career. Tim is now, sadly, making a habit of it, and he's always had it in him.

If we do go back up, we'll be miles off, but I think Burnley will thrive. If we don't go back up, there will be big turnover and we'll have to go back to signing players on the cheap. Probably a good thing, as we clearly have no idea what to do when we have money to spend. Felt for Tzolis when he came on. He looked a bit slow and chubby, and simply didnt have the physicality to get close to the ball. He'll have easier days though against some of the proper s**t in the division, but any notion he's going to score 10 in the remainder of the season and blast us to glory. Hmmm.

That's about it.
