The premise that the vaccine 'came out in a few months' is factually correct

but also misses the fact that mRNA technology has been in development for 12+ years and have completely changed the way that vaccines are developed.

Traditional vaccine production took several years because the inert virus needed to be slowly grown in a lab to get to a stage where it was able to produce an immune response without infecting the patient with the original microbe, whereas mRNA vaccines teach the body to create their own antibodies.

That huge advance in medical science should be a good thing but some people have twisted this to be something it's not.
