If he gets brought straight back in and looks as totally ineffective as he has pretty much every time he's actually been on the pitch this season will that still count as an 'easy win' for Smith?
Every point that could be made about Gilmour could be made about Cantwell. He hasn't done anything on the pitch so far this season to justify being a 'must pick when fit' player.
I'm not saying I know what should be done (as usual football is complicated), just that everyone suggesting it's a black and white situation is talking bollocks.
