Depends what you want to go to but
Yes it’s hard to get tickets for the internationals and it’s quite expensive if you want the best gsmes.
Your best bet if you want cheaper tickets is either to go for the series against the less glamorous side (usually the early summer series) or take a punt on 4th or even 5th day tickets if a test looks like going the distance. Not many are still going on the oats day these days (at least for the full day) but you can usually buy on the gate for £20 (they don’t sell them in advance).
