There are things we can criticise but its daft to start accusing people of not caring anymore.

Webber's job is massively complicated, its not FIFA or FM2022 where you get to see the stats of players before you sign them! There's no footballer wholesaler he can nip to to have a look in their CDM department and pick one off the shelf.

Everytime a business hires a new member of staff there is an element of risk, we've all got some wrong over the years, I'd say signing a footballer has even more variables to consider.
