I think £20-25m is way too much

he might objectively be worth that if he steps up to the Prem, but it's too much for us to spend on a defensive midfielder. If we spent most of our cash on him, we'd end up with more or less the same team as last season, minus Buendia. Which would be a recipe for relegation.

Best thing would be to get Skipp on loan for another season and spend the Buendia money finding a replacement for Buendia, and also competition for Pukki.
