It would be the fairest option from limited options
There's no real reason to think our form would have suddenly, dramatically increased to keep us up.
It would be tougher on Villa and especially Bournemouth, but we probably need at least 4 wins and 3 draws from our last 9 games.
We've won 5 of 29 so far.
Had we not failed to turn up for key, winnable games, we'd be in touching distance at least and might have a case.
Instead we've been doubled by Villa, lost to Brighton, West Ham and Watford, Bournemouth being the only one we've managed to beat so far.
If we go down on PPG it will be a real shame we didn't get the opportunity to perform a miracle, but you can't say its unfair I don't think, or at least the best of poor options.
We've had 29 games to not be cut adrift.
