Hope you stick with it - I came back to cycling about six years ago and although the first couple of months were tough (and I can see why people give up) it's been amazingly beneficial mentally (which I didn't expect) and physically and I've seen things and been to places I'd never see in a car or even walking.

If you're not going full MAMIL than at the very least get yourself some padded shorts.
