I just wanted to test this idea with you as a business owner in The Lanes:

So there are lots of people like me whose salaries are not going to be affected by lockdown and who would otherwise be spending money. One thought I had was whether we could set up a scheme whereby we purchased vouchers from which the money could then be distributed to businesses e.g. via the BID. Obviously, these would need to be redeemed at some point in the future but businesses could taper how many they accept (e.g. as a proportion of a transaction) so that they are redeemed over a period of time rather than all at once.

I thought I’d ask you what you thought before I got in touch with the BID to see if they could help. If they had a pot of cash like that would you be interested in accessing it?
