not for long though now that i've blabbed. mindful of the shabby treatment the redoubtable mrs emmaroyds and her fellow check-out centurions have been subjected to, i bought a box of assorted chocolate biscuits and presented them to the self scanner checkouts commander lady this afternoon and thanked her for staying at her post "that's for you guys, when you get a break". weirdly despite all the protein shelf stripping, prawns seem to be plentiful. not for long though now that i've blabbed. plenty of chocolate left and acres of prosecco. most of the veg has gone bar a few carrots and parsnips. It's going to be f**king great reading this all back in the actual non-dystopian future.
